Downtown Defrost Ticket Aid Program
General Admission tickets for weekend passes or single days at discounts ranging from 20% to 40% will be available through our 2025 Ticket Aid Program. These tickets are reserved for participants on a limited income who cannot otherwise afford our regular priced tickets. These tickets are non-transferrable and available by application only.
Eligibility Rules:
If you buy a Downtown Defrost 2025 ticket through any sale, you cannot apply for the Ticket Assistance Program.
If you receive a discounted ticket through this program but later buy a Downtown Defrost 2025 ticket separately, your discount will be canceled, even if the purchase was for someone else or made using your payment method.
If someone transfers a Downtown Defrost 2025 ticket to your name, you forfeit your eligibility for the Ticket Assistance Program.
Application Guidelines:
One application per person—no group or couple submissions. If applying with friends, you can mention each other.
One application per email—duplicate submissions using the same email will be ignored.
You cannot submit an application for someone else unless they have a disability preventing them from doing so.
You must use your legal name on the application. If approved, you’ll need to present a government-issued ID to collect your ticket at the event’s Box Office.
Proof of Student ID or Income and expenses is required—applications without supporting documents won’t be considered.
No follow-ups will be made for missing documents, so double-check everything before submitting.
Important Details:
Approved applicants will receive a discount code the same day their request is accepted.
Discounts will range between 20% - 40% depending on strength your application
Applications take up to 3 days to process. You will receive a response whether approved or denied.
How to Apply Without Issues:
To avoid problems when submitting your application, follow these steps:
Financial documents must clearly show your name and the date.
Black out all sensitive information such as SIN or Social Security Number etc
Do not complete the application on a mobile device—use a desktop or laptop for best results.
You must upload any document proving your financial situation. Examples include:
A 2024 T4 or equivalent documents
A 2024 or 2023 tax return
A recent pay stub showing total earnings
Unemployment or disability benefits statement
A current student loan statement or evidence of enrolment
Debt statements
Mortgage bills, etc.
Note: This is not a full list—other documents proving income and expenses are also accepted.
Accepted file types: .jpg or .pdf, single-page documents only, and no larger than 10MB each.
If you don’t have a scanner, you can take clear photos of your documents with a smartphone or digital camera.
Check your spam folder for emails related to your application.
