We welcome families and kids of all ages

From 2pm -10pm on March 29-30, 2024, The Downtown Defrost is open to all ages, welcoming you and your family to the immersive downtown stages at Sir Winston Churchill Park. The festival is free for kids 12 and under to attend!

Expect a roster of local and international DJs, heated environments, food and drink vendors, a community marketplace with local and curated wares, and interactive art installations. We recommend ear protection for all kids and dressing for the weather

As the main programming winds down at 10 pm, the night is just getting started with a wealth of Defrost afterparties for those 18+ looking to continue the celebration.
